The fruit was hand harvested, lightly whole bunch pressed and then fermented using wild yeasts. Malolactic fermentation was allowed to happen creating this buttery, creamy notes within the wine.

The fruit was hand harvested, lightly whole bunch pressed and then fermented using wild yeasts. Malolactic fermentation was allowed to happen creating this buttery, creamy notes within the wine. The wine then undergoes 11 months of oak ageing to develop and enrich the wine. The wine shows lemon and vanilla bean mixed in with hazelnuts and butterscotch. This wine is elegant, decadent and delicious; a true contender against some of the of old guard of wines.

Two Rivers of Marlborough established itself in 2004 and the name refers to the two rivers that flow through the Marlborough wine region; Awatere and Wairau River’s.

It is the complexity and elegance with a slight European flair that has elevated Two Rivers to produce wine of great accomplishment and concentration of flavour.

The grapes were sourced from two different areas within Marlborough. The first location was 26-year-old vines from Wairau Valley and the other comes from slightly younger vines from the Southern Valley.
